COVID RESTRICTIONS UPDATE
Posted on by
At this stage, I am sure you are all aware that Ireland is now entering lockdown number 3.
To say I am devastated that it has come to this again is an understatement, I had really hoped that we would be given the opportunity to work together safely and start the new year fresh after such a rotten year but its not to be.
All sections of PDT will now be closed until 31st January at the earliest. We will be offering welfare dog grooming; this is where a client has a vet referral letter/email addressed to PDT for essential grooming for the dog’s health and safety and vet referral dog training (121 training only) at the centre by appointment only.
We will also be offering ZOOM training consultations as we have done successfully over the last 2 lockdowns.
To book a Zoom Training Consult, click on link and once we recive you booking one of the team will be in touch to schedule a time - Zoom Consulatation
I am aware, as I am sure that you all are that there will be businesses similar to us that will remain open. It’s up to each business to look to their own setup, their staff’s welfare, transport in and out of work etc and decide if they are able to open safely under the guidelines and restrictions laid out by the government and it is my understanding that day-care is deemed non-essential and it has been stated by the government that dog grooming and dog training is non-essential EXCEPT when vet referred.
For those who have booked and paid for training course due to start in January, we will be calling you on Monday, January 4th on the phone number you provided when you booked your course to issue your refund.
All who have booked dog grooming, private lessons and day-care, sadly all bookings are now cancelled but you will have priority when we are given the all clear to reopen. I will be in touch over the next week.
To all our fantastic clients, stay safe and I wish you and your families the best New Year possible. We look forward to a time when we can welcome you back into PDT and look after your pets. Please do keep in touch and if we can do anything at all, albeit from behind a computer screen, do let us know.
Liz & all the PDT Team
