Posted on by

We ask that anyone who is experiencing any of the symptoms of COVID 19, a high fever, dry cough, shortness of breath or who has been living or cocooning with someone who has contracted COVID 19 does not attend Positive Dog Training until they have been cleared by their doctors to be out and about mixing with members of the public.
We will be adhering to all the government's guidelines and have installed a hygiene station in the reception area for any who enters the business, sanitisation stations throughout the building and all of our staff have been provided with full PPE.
We ask all of our clients to follow the directions of the PDT team in regards to dropping and picking up your dogs, which will include but are not limited to:
General changes for daycare and grooming clientsOne person only on the shop area at any time.
Only 1 person to be involved in the drop off and collection of each dog.
No children allowed to come into the shop, or attend training classes until the school term has restarted.
All dogs will be treated with a non-toxic pet safe anti-viral spray before mixing with other dogs or the PDT team by the front of house team member. All collars and leads will be treated with a pet-safe non-toxic anti-viral spray.
For all of our services, payment can only be accepted remotely for the moment. You can pay through our website, over the phone, PayPal or by using Revolut before collection of your dogs.
Dog Grooming
We will be operating very strict drop-off and collection times due to the extra care we will be taking to ensure the grooming room and all the equipment is sterilised fully after each dog has been groomed. Please arrive on time for your designated appointment and you must be available to collect your dog when we call you.
Communication with our grooming team for the first few weeks we are open will be by phone only. A designated person will be working in reception to bring in and return your dog to you.
Due to the almost 3 months, we have been closed, styles will be modified if your dogs' coat is matted. It is possible we may need to shave down your dog, for their own comfort and if that is the case one of the grooming team will contact you by phone to advise.
Due to the new systems being put in place and the clients that we are trying to accommodate for grooming in the next few weeks, 24 notice is required if you wish to cancel an appointment. Failure to contact us in advance of not being able/no longer needing your appointment will result in you being removed from our system and further requests for an appointment being refused.
