We have a dedicated puppy playroom where you puppy can mix solely with other puppies under 6 months of age and we have also handpicked some small breed friendly adult dogs who your puppy will meet when they are ready to start interacting with older dogs.

What is puppy social hour?

Social hours are a time to allow your dog to play, interact and socialise with other dogs in a safe environment. For young pups social hours help to teach communication with other dogs that they cannot learn from their humans at home.

Are your social hours supervised?

Yes our social hours are supervised by staff members at all times who will be able to help you understand your puppys behaviour and advise you on issues you may need help with.

Who is allowed to attend social hours?

All family members can attend the social hours with their puppy. We just ask that all visitors are aware that all dogs will be off lead playing and there is a chance you may get knocked over or jumped on by a dog. We ask that all children are supervised carefully by their guardians and that Positive Dog Training accepts no responsibility for any injuries that might happen during social hours and we ask that you avoid bringing any children under the age of 5 years old to social hour.

Do you need to bring anything to social hours?

You do not need to bring anything with you to social hours other than a collar/harness and lead for your puppy, everything else will be provided for you at Positive Dog Training. On your first visit you will be asked to provide proof of your dogs vaccinations and to fill out a form on arrival.

When are social hours on?

Our social hour is on every Saturday morning at 10 am at the Positive Dog Training centre except Bank Holiday weekends and on the occasions that we have educational events running at the centre. Please keep an eye on our facebook page for details.

Do you need to book social hours?

You do not need to book in advance however you will not be allowed to attend without proof of vaccination on your first visit.

What is the cost of social hour?

Social hours are an admittance of €10 per dog.

SATURDAY MORNING SOCIAL HOUR IS FOR DOGS UNDER 6 MONTHS OF AGE. WE HAVE HANDPICKED SOME OLDER DOGS TO TAKE PART IN THE MAIN AREA AND TO INTRODUCE PUPPIES TO. WE DO NOT OFFER AN ADULT DOG SOCIAL HOUR.
